About Our Temple
The Persatuan Penganut Agama Hindu Sri Maha Kaliamman Temple is located in Kuantan, Pahang, and was established in 1980. Mr. Sabri Muthu, believed to be the founder, collaborated with estate workers to set up the temple. Initially, it began as a small hut beneath a large tree, where Mr. Sabri Muthu placed an image of the deity Kaliamman and offered prayers. The temple has become a destination for numerous devotees seeking the blessings of Goddess Kaliamman. Presently, the temple has undergone renovations funded by public donations. The Thimithi festival is enthusiastically celebrated by devotees in this temple. Additionally, the temple is officially registered.
