About Our Temple
In 1960, Hindu military personnel serving in the armed forces built the Arulmigu Kailasanadhar Sivan Temple within the premises of the Air Force Base for the purpose of worship. The temple saw an increase in the number of devotees, and thus, the decision was made to relocate and renovate the temple. With permission from the Air Force commander and other officials, a dedicated plot of land was allocated for the temple. Subsequently, with financial assistance from the temple management and air force personnel, a new temple was built. The consecration ceremony (Kumbabishekam) of the new temple was conducted with grandeur in 1996. Today, the temple is officially registered, and all rituals and prayers are conducted splendidly.
