About Our Temple
Founded by Mr. Vanji in 1965 as a small hut in Kampung Dusun Nyior, Seremban, this temple had its origins during a period of measles outbreak. Mr. Vanji and Mr. Selvam, while resting in the open space of the affected village, had divine dreams about Gods and Goddesses. Inspired by these dreams, they took initiative to establish a nearby house of worship. They placed a red stone, tied with a red cloth, and a statue of Lord Murugan under the small cabin, starting their worship.Locals from a farm in Lubok China, Malacca, transported a vintage statue of Dewi Amman, which was erected near the Kampung Nyior tin mine. The active adoration of Lord Murugan and Goddess Amman by the locals led to public donations, facilitating the upgrade and expansion of the temple's physical structure. The first Kumbhabishegam for the temple occurred in 1974, followed by a second one in 1984. Subsequently, the temple underwent further remodeling and expansion, hosting the next grand Kumbhabishegam in 2014. Today, the temple in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan, attracts significant attention and devotion from the local community.
