About Our Temple
Om Sri Maha Ganapathi Alayam was established approximately 50 years ago in the Sungai Lui, Raub, Pahang. A natural mound formation emerged in a piece of land owned by Mr. Subramaniam. They installed a statue of Lord Vinayagar (Ganesha) at the site and began worshiping, limiting the prayers to their family members. Subsequently, with the awareness of Lord Vinayagar's significance growing among the devotees, regular worship and festivals started taking place. The temple, which was initially a small shrine with a trident (Soolam), has now grown and hosts various ceremonies and special pujas, including the celebration of Vinayagar Chathurthi and other auspicious events.
