About Our Temple
This Om Sri Maha Kaliamman Temple is situated in Raub, Pahang. Approximately 80 years ago, Tamil People residing in the estate embraced Lord Muneeswaran and Kaliamman as their guardian deities. Devotees living in the vicinity of the river constructed this temple. The temple houses idols of five powerful deities. In the initial days, they placed a trident (Soolam) and performed worship. Later, with the permission of the estate management, a small temple was built, and a consecration ceremony was conducted. The Tamil community, living in the estate, has now shifted to urban areas. However, they continue to actively participate in the special worship and festivals held at the temple. Currently, the temple is well-organized, and all ceremonies are conducted with grandly.
