About Our Temple

Established in 1930 by a group of agricultural laborers in Kampung Baru Saga, Rantau, Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan, this temple was founded by Mr. Ponniah Pandaram. The temple witnessed three Kumbhabishegam celebrations in 1990, 2002, and 2014. The primary deity of the temple is Goddess Meenachi Amman, alongside other deities such as Vinayagar, Murugan, and Navakragam. Initially, the statue of Goddess Mariamman was crafted from wood. The temple's initial construction took place beneath a cottage, predating the first Kumbhabishegam celebration. The temple has received financial support from the government for its construction. During religious rituals like the Navarathiri Poojai in October (Puradtasi), the local community collaborates and actively participates. Additionally, the temple plays a role in providing welfare assistance to the local community in need.
