About Our Temple
In 1960, the family of Mr. Subramaniam Sivapayi, residents of the Temiang farm, constructed a Vel and commenced the worship of Lord Muniswarar as their guardian deity. Initially, the prayers to Lord Muniswaran were solely offered by Mr. Subramaniam's family. Over time, the Tamil community residing in the Temiang estate also started venerating Lord Muniswaran. A naturally occurring snake mound (Naga Putthu) was discovered near the statue of Lord Muniswararan, where a python resided. Mr. Subramaniam Sivapai initiated the worship of the python In 1986, Mr. Paramasivam, Mr. Subramaniam's son, constructed a Nagamma temple and installed an idol of Nagamma. Presently, the temple operates as the Nageswari Amman temple and is officially registered with ROS.
