About Our Temple
In 1974, Mr. Sugumaran, guided by his teacher Mr. Govindansamy, installed a trident in his residence. Following the advice, he was directed to place a statue of Dewi Ambal alongside the trident. With contributions gathered from the local residents, he established a temple. In this newly constructed temple, a statue of Lord Muniandy was installed, and a goat was ritually sacrificed in accordance with Hindu traditions. Subsequently, Mr. Sugumaran also placed the idol of Lord Sanglikaruppan in the temple.

Goddess Amman has the power of sakthi, which can help grant the prayers of her devotees. Many devotees come to bring offerings (seeru) during the prayer ceremony. Devotees will bring Karagam, Kavadi, and Paal Kudam from the nearby river. While performing this ceremony, the devotees have to observe the kuuri (hidden item). Devotees who give the right answer have the chance to take the Temple Kargam. If none of them guess correctly, then Archagar will take the Karagam.
