About Our Temple
The Sri Maha Mariamman Temple in Temerloh was constructed in 1926, and it is located within the Jalan Ahmad Shah area of Pahang, Malaysia. The temple was initially situated in Jalan Ahmad Shah, Temerloh, and it was later relocated from the premises owned by Jalan Ahmad Shah in Temerloh to the present location at Jalan Kuantan, Temerloh, with the approval of the Pahang State Government. In 1988, the temple, bearing the registration number LAD 1077, was moved from Jalan Kuantan, Temerloh, to its current location.The relocation was facilitated by the request and sponsorship of Jalan Ahmad Shah in Temerloh. The Pahang Darul Makmur State Government, in 1994, allocated a piece of land for the construction of the Sri Maha Mariamman Temple in Temerloh. In 1999, the temple underwent a significant expansion and built a double storey temple with a large hall. It was sponsored by the Temerloh Municipal Council and the building constructions were completed in 2010.
