About Our Temple
The Sri Maha Muthumariamman Temple is situated in Raub, Pahang. Its establishment in 1954 was significantly influenced by Indian devotees employed at JKR. While cleaning the road, they discovered a Goddess beneath a tree. A transformative moment occurred when one night, a worker observed Amman's shadow moving beneath the same tree. From that day forward, the workers began offering prayers at the site. Under new management, the temple has undergone renovations. Despite these changes, the temple continues to attract numerous devotees, particularly during the Aadi Thiruvilla, celebrated as its annual festival.
