About Our Temple
The Sri Muniswarar Temple, situated in Jalan Lama, Tampin, is believed to have been founded in 1946 by Mr. KS Maniam. In its initial construction, the temple was a small structure made from wooden planks with a zinc roof. Lord Muniandy was enshrined within the temple and revered as the guardian deity of the community. Over time, the temple gained widespread popularity, attracting numerous people from the surrounding areas who came to pray to Lord Muniandy, seeking blessings for their various concerns. The community holds a strong belief that their problems find resolution through prayers to Lord Muniandy. Currently, the temple has evolved into a stone structure and has been officially registered.
