About Our Temple
The Sri Murugan Temple is situated in Sungai Koyan, Raub, Pahang. Its origins trace back to 1977 when a group of Felda settlers in the Sungai Koyan Felda Cluster initially constructed the temple. The original structure was crafted from wood and cement, and prayer ceremonies were conducted using images of deities. In 1995, following the guidance of Siva Sri Muthukumar Sivachariyar, a new temple with a stone building was erected adjacent to the old one. The inaugural Kumbabishegam took place in 1996. The temple is officially registered, and it celebrates Thaipusam grandly as its annual festival.
