About Our Temple
In the 1890s, this area was a rural region inhabited by diverse groups of people under British rule. During that period, the Tamil people living in this area worshipped Goddess Bhadrakali Amman as their guardian deity. They installed a small trident under a banyan tree in their settlement, performing daily rituals and lighting lamps. After the 1960s, the region transformed into a town through urban development initiatives. Subsequently, with the efforts of the temple administration and the support of devotees, the temple was renovated, and a consecration ceremony (Kumbabishekam) was conducted. Today, the temple is officially registered, and all rituals and festivals are celebrated grandly. This temple stands as a testament to the transformation of villages into towns and preserves the history of Tamil people.
