About Our Temple

In the 1950s, a modest Hanuman temple emerged along the banks of the Brickfields River, initially constructed using boards and zinc. During that period, Shrimat Guru took responsibility for the temple's upkeep and performed religious ceremonies. The temple's extensive reconstruction began in 1998 and spanned two decades. This elaborate renovation, characterized by sophisticated architecture, incurred a total expenditure of RM10 million. The meticulous construction involved the creation of over 70 hand-painted and sculpted Hanuman figures, all crafted without the use of molds. With more than 100 statues of Hanuman, the temple boasts a unique and artistic ambiance. Officially registered, the temple consistently conducts Hanuman worship ceremonies. Devotees from various parts of Malaysia visit to offer prayers to Hanuman, reflecting the widespread appeal and significance of the temple.
