About Our Temple
The Sri Maha Mariamman Temple in Taman Jaya, Kemayan was established in 1995 by Mr. Victor Albert. He placed a small trident (sulam) and performed worship for Goddess Mariamman in the area where he lived. Initially, the temple was a simple structure made of wood. Only Mr. Victor Albert's family participated in the worship rituals. However, as word spread, and with the support of Mr. Victor Albert's family, the temple gradually expanded, and the local community began to appreciate the blessings of Goddess Mariamman. Even though the temple is managed by the Victor Albert family, it serves as a place of worship for everyone in the community.
