About Our Temple

Over eight decades old, the Sri Rajashakti Nageshwari Amman Temple was founded by Mr. Shakti Subramaniam. Initially, the Moolasthanam Ambal Kalyana was depicted sitting in the form of a snake under a tree. Constructed using a combination of stone and wooden planks, Mr. Shakti Subramaniam personally dug a 20-foot-deep well at the age of 15 for the temple's water source. Facing various challenges, including issues related to the twin towers and land disputes, Mr. Sakthi Subramaniam persevered. In a significant dream, the chief archagar of the Kalikampal temple suggested placing Shiva and Agatheeswarar in this temple. Observing the form of Shiva in the well, the Kashi Vishwanath temple was established here. The temple's pillars are adorned with statues of 18 Siddhas and 36 Shiva Thandavam. Notably, the Chitrai Maha Utsavam Thimithi festival held in this temple has gained widespread fame.
