About Our Temple
The establishment of the Sri Maha Annai Akhilandeshwari Temple dates back to 1920. During that period, the local residents in this vicinity traditionally revered Madurai Veeran and Muniandi as their protective deities. The present Sri Maha Annai Akhilandeshwari Temple is the result of the amalgamation of the Mettu Temple and Pallatu Temple. The temple premises have been allocated for a duration of 30 years. Within the sacred precincts of this temple, devotees pay homage to deities such as Mariamman, Vinayagar, Murugan, Muniandi, and Madurai Veeran. The architectural splendor of the temple is noteworthy. An annual festival is joyously celebrated each October, marking a significant occasion. Encompassing an area of 0.3 Acres, the temple boasts exquisite beauty. Additionally, special poojas are conducted regularly on Ammavasai and Pournami days.
