About Our Temple
Between 1945 and 1950, the majority of Tamil residents from the Rompin Estate inhabited the area. In a commendable effort to benefit the local Tamil community, Mr. VK Kalyana Sundaram constructed a Rajarajeshwari Ambal temple and a Tamil school on his property. Subsequently, the temple faced neglect and abandonment, leading to a state of disrepair. However, in 1998, Mr. Kannappan spearheaded a comprehensive renovation, culminating in the successful conduct of the first Kumbabhishekam. The temple is presently registered, and regular puja ceremonies are conducted. Recent restoration initiatives have reignited attention on the temple, and efforts are underway to revitalize it.
