About Our Temple
Sri Sithi Vinayagar Temple, located in Bukit Kuantan, Pahang, Malaysia, was established in 1962 by Mr Duraisamy. The temple was built by the first rubber plantation workers of the FELDA scheme to seek divine protection from disturbances caused by wild animals such as elephants, monkeys, and others in the forest. Initially, the temple was a small hut made of wooden planks and a zinc roof, constructed using funds collected from the workers. A statue of Lord Vinayagar was placed in the hut to offer prayers and seek blessings. Over time, with the efforts of subsequent temple administrators and devotees, a new temple was constructed, and a grand consecration ceremony (Kumbhabhishekam) was held. Currently, the temple is officially registered, and all rituals and festivals are conducted with great devotion. The Vinayagar Chaturthi celebration held here is especially significant and celebrated with much grandeur.
