About Our Temple
Approximately 160 years ago, Gurkha soldiers under Japanese administration discarded their weapons and began worshipping Amman, their guardian deity. Over time, Tamil laborers on the local rubber plantations also started venerating her as Bhatrakali Amman. Mr. Subramaniam once conducted a sacrificial ceremony in this temple. However, after his passing, Tamil residents in the area relocated. In 1990, a small temple was built, and regular pooja ceremonies are still conducted there. During celebrations, migrant Tamils often visit the temple.
