About Our Temple
The Sree Devi Karumariamman Kashi Vishwanathan Temple was established approximately 90 years ago. In the 1940s, Tamil People inhabited various regions around Karak, Bentong and Pahang area. They decided to build a temple in their residential area (Ladang Bukit Dinding). Consequently, the Tamil community in this region joined together to construct the Devi Sri Karumariamman Kashi Vishwanathan Temple. The entire temple was built through the financial contributions of devotees.In this temple, 12 beautifully crafted vigrahas (idol-like structures) were installed, and the first Kumbhabhishekam (consecration ceremony) was conducted with great significance. Currently, the temple is registered and organizes various ceremonies and festivals with great enthusiasm.
