About Our Temple

In the 1900s, Tamil workers were employed in the estates of the Sirampan region. During that time, the people worshipped their guardian deities by placing tridents, (Vel), images, and sacred items under trees or in small huts within their neighborhoods. In the 1950s, as the outskirts of Seremban began to develop, the temple administration and devotees took efforts to fully renovate and rebuild the temple. The consecration ceremony (Kumbabhishekam) for the new temple was then conducted. In 1968, a multi-purpose hall was constructed for the temple, and in 1988, the temple celebrated its 75th anniversary with a grand Silver Jubilee. The temple has since seen significant growth and development. Today, it serves as the main place of worship for the Tamil community living in the area.
