About Our Temple
The Sri Maha Mariamman Temple has a rich history spanning over 100 years. Tamil People residing in the Bandar Jengka, Maran region, consider Goddess Mariamman and Lord Marathandavar as their guardian deities and established the temple with great devotion. In 1979, with the efforts of Mr. Ponnusamy, a small temple was constructed, and a special consecration ceremony (Kumbhabhishekam) took place. Currently, the temple is registered and conducts all its ceremonies and rituals with great reverence.

The deity found in this temple is 100 years old and very powerful. All the wishes of the devotees will be granted by the gods found in this temple. During the Panguni Uthiram festival season as many as 1500 devotees will gather at this temple to continue their journey to the temple of Maran Marathandavar Temple. This area has 4 temples but this temple is the main temple in this area.
