About Our Temple
The Sri Arunachaleswarar Temple was established in 1922 in Jalan Rasa, Negeri Sembilan. Initially, the temple was founded by railway workers under a banyan tree. Later, a lady named Anjalai, an elderly woman, took responsibility for maintaining the temple. In 1934, with the help of KTM employees, the temple was expanded. In 1990, the temple was officially registered. However, in 2012, land-related issues arose with the railway department, and the temple was granted a separate piece of land. Following this, under the leadership of Mr. Muniyandi, with contributions from the temple administration, devotees, and generous individuals, a new temple was constructed. In 2019, the new temple was completed, and the consecration ceremony (Kumbabhishekam) was held with great grandeur. The temple is now officially registered, and all rituals and festivals are celebrated with devotion and joy.
