About Our Temple

The Devi Shri Maha Mariyamman Temple was established in 1979 by the Tamils living in the Felda settlement area. In the early days, through the financial support of the Felda organization, a small trident was placed in a hut, designating it as the guardian deity. Lord Muniswaran and Goddess Mariamman were revered as the protective deities. The devotees, who continued this tradition, built a temple in 1989 with the simen struvture temple. In 1980, the Naganaathar Temple was also constructed near the Mariamman Temple. Subsequently, through the efforts of the temple management and devotees, the entire temple underwent renovations, culminating in a grand consecration ceremony in 2000. Currently, the temple is officially registered, and all ceremonies are conducted with great reverence.
