About Our Temple
The Sri Subramaniyar Temple was established in 1979. Mr. Balan Chinna, a resident of the area, initiated the installation of a small Murugan (Subramaniyar) idol and started worshiping it. In the early days, only his family members participated in the worship. However, as word spread, the People in the vicinity began to appreciate the blessings of Murugan, and this part of the community also started participating in the worship.Despite being managed by Mr. Balan's family initially, the temple gradually evolved into a place of worship for everyone under the leadership of the Balan family. This section of the community actively engages in significant Murugan-related practices, and the temple serves as a focal point for their devotion.
