About Our Temple
The Sri Maha Mariamman Temple was established by the J.K.R. workers. The workers initially set up an image of Devi Ambaal under a tree and performed worship there. After a few years, they built a small temple under the tree. Later, the temple administration, in collaboration with the J.K.R. workers, decided to build a new temple. Funds were raised from devotees and generous individuals for this purpose. However, due to a lack of sufficient financial support, the construction of the temple was delayed at times. Finally, after several efforts, the construction of the temple was completed. In 1990, the new temple was built, and the consecration ceremony (Kumbabhishekam) was conducted grandly. The temple is now officially registered, and all rituals and festivals are celebrated with devotion and grandeur.
